Collection: Waxberry

In this series, the elements that inform my design are actual seeds. They are cast from molds and reproduced in precious metals. I love how the texture translates in metal, in polished silver and gold the berries glitter like diamonds. My inspiration comes from a special Bayberry shrub native to Northern California. This prolific plant grows along the Pacific coast providing food and safe shelter for many birds. Each seed is approximately 1/8 inch x 1/8 inch.
